We have two dry camping spaces available during the fall hunting season, approximately September 1 to November 30. Review the information on the Neighborhood, Region, and Policies pages. The same rules apply to our RV spaces, with the additional rules detailed below. The access road has steep grades, both uphill and downhill. Snow and ice are likely throughout the fall into winter. You must have a four-wheel-drive vehicle with chains. You should bring chains for your trailer, too. Check the weather forecast, keeping in mind that our camp is located at over a mile high, and call us for current conditions before you leave home.
We are not a law enforcement agency, but we are on friendly terms with the local game wardens. Some of our neighbors are sworn officers, and we expect lawful behavior of our guests. We don't look the other way. If we see illegal activities, we will report it. The camp is surrounded by private property and occupied residences, so sighting-in, target practice, and plinking are not allowed in camp. Non-game animals, such as rabbits, rock chucks, coyotes, and foxes den in or near the camp. It is not our intention to protect these animals, but discharge of firearms in and around camp is not allowed. Both National Forest land and state forest land is located nearby. Ask us for advice on accessibility and permitted activities. To reserve one of our spaces for your fall hunt: Maximum stay might be affected by weather and season dates. Minimum stay is two nights.
